Q is for Quirky

This week Letters to Scrap By had a real challenge. They couldn't find a colour for "Q" so they opted for a style. As a rule I am not one to go way out, I feel much more comfortable if I am more in control. I was having a good think about what to do and since I had just put a colour through my hair, I thought "why not"? So here is what I came up with.


The journaling reads: I have inherited my dad's hair. His hair was fine and silky and had a soft wave. I always thought that he looked so debonair. The only problem was that he went silver grey quite early so that is why I have developed a relationship with the BOTTLE.....the hair colour bottle that is.

When I took this photo, the light must have been perfect because this layout IS this colourful. Here in Queensland the sunlight is very bright and even in the shade, the colours don't always come out right. Fortunately today was overcast.
